In her ‘spare’ time, she and husband, Mark, have had six children. Her talent at the time was that of her career and raising her growing family. However, Karin always had a burning desire to paint – her talent uniquely natural. This desire could not be realized until she began tutelage under renowned art teacher, Robert Taylor, at the Art Center in Sacramento, C.A. Through his instructions, Karin’s work met with immediate success. Paintings were sold prior to their completion, In fact, she was commissioned to create a painting of the clubhouse at one of America’s most famous golf courses in Augusta, G.A.
